The reason stays with the action.
For an unresolved delivery or an internal check, authorised staff can place stock on hold with a reason. The team sees the status in the current container view. The action remains in the log.
A lot hold applies to containers connected to that lot. The previously recorded assignment is essential. In your pilot, check which containers are actually connected as well as the hold action itself.
An earlier print job is checked again.
The state can change between creating and sending a print job. PREPLOQ checks again immediately before sending whether stock has expired or is held. An older job cannot bypass this check.
The software records status and print attempts. An already attached physical label remains in place. Your team must separate affected stock according to your operational procedure.
