Check before creating a label.
Start with a product your team regularly prepares. Head office reviews required information and explicitly approves its rule.
- Product and version clearly named
- Allergen states explicitly confirmed
- Rule approved for the selected step
- Required manufacturer and lot information available
Check the label itself.
The preview must clearly represent the saved event. Missing required content or insufficient space is resolved before printing.
- Product name understood by the next shift
- Actual event time recorded
- Internal date easily readable
- Unique container ID
- QR code opens the right container
- Required storage and allergen information included
Check together after printing.
Ask a second person to take over the container. They should find information without verbal help and perform the intended next step.
Include an uncertain printing attempt and a hold in the test. These are practical handover questions that a good-looking preview alone cannot answer.
- Physical output at the printer checked
- QR code opened on the attached label
- Use or disposal explicitly recorded
- Held container separate from usable stock
- Reprint contains the saved version
