Collect hardware details before setup.
Record the printer model, resolution, label format and intended station connection. If these differ from the target configuration, establish the appropriate setup before testing. Support for every Zebra model is not assumed.
- Check Zebra model and resolution
- Match the 60 × 40 mm label format
- Configure station and printer connection
- Check legibility and QR code on the physical TEST label
Required content must not silently disappear.
PREPLOQ uses the same label layout for preview and printing. Required content that does not fit produces a blocker. Long product names or extensive details are not silently truncated.
Check the actual intended product information. A short sample may work while another product needs too much required content. The layout must handle this case clearly too.
Distinguish the print job, attempt and physical result.
A saved label creates a print job; attempts and status are recorded. Technical transmission alone is not proof of a paper label. An uncertain result requires the designated checking step. Reprints use the saved version.
Simulations use synthetic TEST data and are not hardware tests. Production companies do not print to the simulated printer. The real device workflow is checked during personal setup.

Can I connect any existing label printer?
The pilot target hardware is the Zebra ZD421d at 203 dpi. Other models and their connections require separate assessment.
