Prepare a template without inventing ingredient information.
For each product, the CSV contains the 14 allergen groups plus fields for specific cereals or nuts, sources, reviewer and review date. Every allergen status starts Unreviewed. The template does not assess a recipe or make blanket trace statements.
The download is created in your browser. Product names are not sent to PREPLOQ or stored permanently. The file is an independent working template, not an import format for automatic product approval.
Check the evidence behind every cell.
Review recipes, ingredients, manufacturer details and your operational process. Document the source and reviewed version. For cereals containing gluten and nuts, specific details are also needed. Empty or unreviewed cells must not be read as Absent.
In PREPLOQ, product versions are approved with explicitly confirmed allergen information. A later change requires fresh review. Previously saved labels retain their original version.
Sources and context
- Food Information Regulation, Annex II
Source for the 14 allergen groups. Review exceptions and specific requirements for each product.
Questions about this topic
Does the template confirm that a product is allergen-free?
No. All statuses initially remain unreviewed. A product statement requires your professional assessment and documentation.
Can I open the CSV in Excel?
Yes. It uses UTF-8 with a BOM and semicolon separators. Select those settings during import if needed.
